Gray Matters (2006) is a romantic comedy that follows the lives of two inseparable, codependent siblings, Gray (Heather Graham) and Sam (Tom Cavanagh) . Living together in New York City, the two are often mistaken for a couple, leading them to decide to help each other find romantic partners.

The story takes a turn when Gray introduces Sam to Charlie (Bridget Moynahan), a woman she meets at a park. Sam and Charlie fall in love and get engaged almost immediately. However, during a drunken bachelorette party in Las Vegas, Gray and Charlie share a passionate kiss.
