The screen went black. The split-vision merged back into one blurry room. Leo slumped in his chair, his heart racing at a normal, singular pace.

The software decided that since Leo was multitasking so well, he could handle more. It started downloading "Background Tasks." Suddenly, Leo found himself solving complex theorems for a server in Switzerland while his legs began to walk him toward the kitchen to prep a meal he didn't even want.
