In this episode, Carla becomes increasingly frustrated with Eddie’s lack of financial responsibility. Despite being a professional hockey player (and later an ice show performer), Eddie is prone to spending money on various get-rich-quick schemes and frivolous items. The tension peaks when Carla realizes how much their future stability is at risk due to his impulsive nature.
