Piper and Phoebe attempt a power-switching spell so Piper can experience Phoebe’s vision of a demon-free "Utopian" world. However, the demon Zankou (Oded Fehr) interrupts the spell, causing their magical abilities to be transferred to two innocent bystanders, Ronnie and Denise, who begin using them for personal gain.

The episode follows two primary storylines involving the Halliwell sisters and their ongoing conflict with the demonic world and the mysterious Avatars.
