Bishamon refuses to acknowledge the rot in her family. Her blind devotion to protecting her "family" leads her to take in a treacherous Regalia, Kugaha, who manipulates her and feeds her paranoia. Noragami Aragoto

A heavily Blighted Bishamon attacks Yato. The battle forces her to face the consequences of her inaction and eventually accept that she must change her ways, leading to the painful release of her poisonous Regalia and a new, more communicative relationship with her family. 2. The second half, deemed darker and more philosophical, explores the concept of reincarnation and the nature of gods. Yato is forced into the Underworld with Ebisu, a God of Fortune who frequently reincarnates and sees little value in his current "self". A heavily Blighted Bishamon attacks Yato

Ebisu dies and reincarnates. This profoundly changes Yato, who finally confronts his own past. He realizes he no longer wants to be a "God of Calamity" used by his old, toxic mentor (Father/Nora). Review/discussion about: Noragami Aragoto
