"Whether you are religious or not, this National Historic Landmark is a must-see. It is a very special, quiet, and peaceful place that feels deeply spiritual. Known for its 'holy dirt,' it is a place of pilgrimage, and the little chapel is filled with moving tributes. The grounds are beautiful, well-kept, and offer great photography opportunities. It is a wonderful, moving stop on the High Road to Taos.

"This resort is a true gem for relaxation and connecting with nature. The architecture is stunning, designed to bring peace, and the views over the lake are breathtaking. The spa is outstanding, and the 'Santuario Massage' is a must-do to re-energize. The rooms are unique, featuring in-room pools. While the service is warm, it can be a bit slow, and the resort requires walking up quite a few stairs—perfect for views, but something to keep in mind. Overall, a memorable, tranquil experience. 3. "One of the best experiences we had in Costa Rica! The staff is absolutely fantastic—highly organized, safety-conscious, and very friendly. The zip lines are high and long, offering incredible views of the canopy, and the hanging bridges between them added to the thrill. As a bonus, the included traditional lunch was delicious and authentic. Our teenagers loved it, and even with a fear of heights, the staff made us feel secure. Highly recommend! 2.
