The story begins at the bottom of a , where the displaced residents of Donut County are gathered around a campfire. Among them is Mira , a human girl, and BK , a self-centered raccoon who runs a local donut shop. Mira and a newly repentant BK team up to take him down

Every time a resident ordered a donut, BK sent a hole instead, swallowing their homes, businesses, and eventually the residents themselves to "raccoonify" the town with tech-based upgrades. The Turning Point

After defeating the Trash King, the hole is reversed, and the residents are catapulted back to the surface. While the town is still a mess, the people are free, and BK finally learns that his friends are more important than a digital high score.
