Red didn't use a knife. He didn't need one. His jaw unhinged further than any human’s ever could, a sharp, obsidian tongue flickering out. One swift strike through the visor. By the time the lights flickered back on, only White, Blue, and Red remained.

White was shaking, a wrench held like a club. "It’s him," he pointed at Blue. "He was behind me the whole time." "I was trying to stay safe!" Blue screamed. No one was voted out

Red checked the tablet. The "Ship Integrity" bar was a healthy green, but the atmosphere in the Cafeteria was anything but. Blue and Yellow were whispering by the emergency button. White was obsessively swiping a card that refused to scan.

Green was the first to wander off alone. He was a perfectionist, hunched over a tangled mess of wires in the back of Electrical. Red slipped through the door, the pneumatic hiss masked by a sudden, intentional burst of static from the ship’s comms.
