Throughout his career, Billy Glide has been praised for his dedication to rock music and his undeniable talent as a guitarist. As a highly respected figure in the rock community, Glide continues to perform and record music, ensuring his enduring impact on the genre.
Glide's musical journey began in the late 1970s, playing guitar in various local bands in his hometown of Poughkeepsie, New York. His big break came when he joined the rock band Kix in 1983, replacing their original guitarist, Mark English. With Glide on board, Kix released their third studio album, "Midnight to Midnight," which featured the hit single "Love Gun."
Glide left Kix in 1994, but his legacy as one of the band's most iconic guitarists remained. He went on to pursue solo projects and collaborations with other artists, while also making sporadic appearances with Kix on their reunion tours.
